Failure of an MDPS in a vehicle with three or more level autonomous vehicle(1) without obligation for the drive to look ahead may pose a serious threat to driver safety. Therefore, many manufacturers are developing MDPS for redundancy or more (hereinafter referred to as multiplexing) specifications for all electrical and electronic devices so that the steering force can be maintained even in the event of a failure in order to cope with the above situation. Especially, the MDPS is designed and applied by multiplexing the torque sensor, the motor position sensor, the motor driving circuit, and even the MCU and the motor winding. |
