초록 Recently, as automobile exhaust gas regulations are strengthened, the fast warm-up technology that can reduce emission has been studied In the newly developed fast warm-up system of a forklift, the engine coolant which recovers the waste heat from the EGR gas flows into the HF heater and is used for warm-up. Therefore, both of the heat exchangers, i.e., EGR cooler and HF heater, can be developed in a unified form to increase the amount of recovered heat to achieve improvement in fuel economy. In this study, prototype evaluation was performed to compare the performance of both heat exchangers with the unified EGRC HF heater module. The pressure drop of coolant in the module passes through the side of the EGR cooler with relatively low pressure drop and then through the HF heater with high pressure drop is greatly increased compared to the EGR cooler alone. Heat recovery of the HF is greatly affected by the coolant recovered from the exhaust gas according to the investigation results from the evaluation.
