초록 |
Even though the era of electric vehicle has come, the needs for more economical and eco- friendly internal combustion engine have been higher. Various kinds of powertrain technologies have been applied to enhance the engine performance. Among the technologies, intake manifold is one of the key parts to influence the engine performance. This study will mainly review the development process and the result of intake manifold part focused on fatigue of the plastic part. CAE simulation and experiments were implemented to evaluate design validity. Fatigue strength of the plastic part, as well as conventional structural strength, should be taken into consideration when it comes to designing a part under repeated loads. |
