제목 A study about the effects of Key Parameters on continuous HCCI operation in a Free Piston Linear Engine

초록 This study examines the effects of key parameters to run a two stroke free piston SI engine under HCCI mode. In
particular, the aim is to combine the benefit of free piston engine along with HCCI combustion mode in order to
explore a high efficient low emission engine package. Firstly, experiment was conducted to achieve a successful SIHCCI
transition and then key engine parameters such as intake air temperature and equivalence ratio were adjusted to
assist a steady HCCI running condition. The output power and exhaust emissions were measured for both the
combustion (SI and HCCI) modes with the aim of making a comparison between them.
