In this article, the Bi-function Headlamp using LED as a light source will be introduced. Bi-Function LED Headlamp is a one of the solutions for consolidation of Low beam and high beam module. Using the LED and reflector replaced on upper side, low beam performance can be realized. And using the LED and reflector replaced on lower side, high beam performance can be realized. This solution has a merit of a reduction of weights, simplification of structure and lowering the cost and so on. Furthermore, the connecting the a number of module enable us to make new lamp design and AFS function which increase the visibility of drivers. |
