초록 Catalytic oxidation is a promising way of removing VOCs at a low cost and high energy savings compared to other techniques. Noble metals, such as platinum and palladium, show high performance in terms of the catalytic oxidation of VOCs, but the high cost of platinum group metals must be overcome. Manganese and cerium have also been studied as substitutes for platinum due to high oxygen mobility in their oxides. In this work, we applied an MOF-derived, manganese-cerium mixed composite for the catalytic oxidation of toluene. MC46-MOF, a mixed oxide with a stoichiometric ratio of Mn:Ce = 4:6, is synthesized from MOF-808 as a sacrificial template, and shows high toluene oxidation performance at low temperature. Its high performance is related to the increased interfaces between Mn-Ce and enhanced reducibility, with the characterization of XRD and H2-TPR.
