초록 Constant velocity joints (CVJ) function to transmit torque at a constant speed from the engine or motor to the wheels under all driving conditions. The outboard joint of a CVJ absorbs angular changes in the drivetrain caused by wheel steering, and the maximum articulation angle of the CVJ is directly related to the vehicle's minimum turning radius. Recently, with trends toward vehicle electrification and larger vehicle sizes, wheelbases have increased, leading to a larger turning radius. An increased turning radius negatively affects driving convenience, especially in situations such as U-turns and parking. To address this issue, various solutions are being developed, and among them, the application of a dual CVJ structure has been designed as the most cost-effective approach to reducing a vehicle's turning radius.
