초록 The electric vehicle & future mobility market is getting bigger and total vehicle weight increases because battery and electric systems are adopted. Also, It is always important to reduce the total weight of vehicle for fuel/electric efficient of vehicle. for those reasons, the interest of weight reduction has incresed. Consequently, research on lightweight components is actively being conducted. With industrial development, various materials have been studied, and in particular, GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer/Plastic) has paid attention for its significantly lower density compared to steel, which is commonly used in vehicles. Replacing the coil spring to transverse GFRP leaf spring in the CTBA suspension can also improve mobility flexibility by expanding interior space. This study applies GFRP leaf springs to the conventional CTBA suspension using ADAMS analysis, achieving both weight reduction and vehicle performance improvement.
