In this paper, we define the available period of long-term storage tires in containers. For this, tires stored in actual container warehouse were taken out at regular intervals to check tire material properties and performance changes. To check the changes in material properties, we measure viscoelasticity, mechanical properties and ozone resistance of each tire rubber part. (tread, sidewall, etc.) And we also check tire performance, so we evaluate uniformity, static characteristics, force&moment, rolling resistance. As a result of this analysis, some material and tire performance changes were confirmed, which are different from the general aging behavior of tires due to storage environment. |
