| 초록 |
This study explores the influence of stator winding topology on the electromagnetic performance of traction motors for electric vehicle applications. Two winding configurations are considered: conventional hairpin winding and continuous hairpin winding, also referred to as S-winding. While both utilize rectangular conductors, S-winding eliminates the need for inter-pin welding by enabling radial insertion of a pre-formed winding mat, requiring open-slot stator designs and smaller conductor dimensions. To isolate the effects of winding structure, interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs) are designed with identical outer dimensions and turn counts. Finite element analysis (FEA) is employed to evaluate key electromagnetic parameters, including torque, output power, phase resistance, inductance, and AC loss. The study further examines how differences in conductor-per-slot (CPS), slot geometry, and insertion method affect current distribution and loss characteristics. These insights contribute to the optimization of stator winding strategies for high-performance traction motor design. |
